Dental Marketing Online sets up and optimises your Google Business Profile (GMB), the listing patients see on Google Maps and in local search, so your clinic looks complete, trustworthy and easy to contact. We work within Google's rules, track calls and direction requests, and report in plain numbers. It is one of our three channels, alongside Google Ads and SEO.
Your work is led by Santosh Prasad, who has worked with dental clinics on Google Ads, Google Business Profile and SEO for 5 years.
Google Business Profile (GMB) optimisation for dental clinics from Dental Marketing Online means we set up, correct and maintain your Google listing: categories, services, photos, posts, hours and review handling. It is free to be listed, so you pay for our work, not for Google. We do not guarantee map rankings.
Your Google Business Profile is the box that appears when someone searches "dentist near me" or your clinic's name. It shows your name, address, phone number, hours, photos, services, reviews and a map. For many patients it is the first and only thing they see before calling. Google still calls the product Google Business Profile; clinic owners often search for "GMB", the old name.
Optimising it means making the information complete and accurate, choosing the right categories and services, adding real photos, posting updates, answering reviews and fixing problems such as duplicate listings or a suspended profile. It does not mean tricks. Fake reviews, keyword-stuffed names and virtual locations break Google's rules and can get a profile suspended.
The profile works hand in hand with Google Ads management for dental clinics and SEO for dental clinics. Patients compare your ad, your listing and your website before they decide. If you are unsure where you stand, start with our Google Business Profile (GMB) audit.
Not sure which side you are on? We will tell you honestly after looking at your clinic.
Most profile problems are small and fixable:
An old phone number, missing hours or the wrong category sends patients elsewhere or stops your profile from appearing for the right searches.
Patients read reviews before calling. Silence, or defensive replies, can cost you the enquiry.
A second listing for the same clinic splits your reviews and confuses Google. An unverified profile cannot be fully managed.
Naming, address or review rule breaches can get a profile suspended, and clinics often do not know why. Getting it back takes care and evidence.
Everything below is done within Google's guidelines, and we ask for manager access to your profile rather than ownership of it.
Verification support, correct name, address and phone, hours, special hours, appointment link and a check for duplicates.
A primary category that fits your clinic, sensible secondary categories and a services list that matches what you actually offer.
A plan for real photos of the clinic and team (with consent), and regular posts about services, hours and news. No patient photos.
A process for asking patients for reviews without incentives or gating, plus calm, professional replies that never reveal patient details.
Want to see which of these your clinic needs first?
We review your listing as patients see it: details, categories, services, photos, reviews, questions and any duplicates or flags.
You give us manager access. We correct details, choose categories and services, and fix what is wrong first.
We add or request real photos, write the services and description, and plan the first posts.
We set up a simple review request routine for your front desk, within Google's policies.
We watch for changes and issues, reply to reviews with you, and send a monthly report of calls, direction requests and website clicks.
Google does not charge to have a Business Profile, so you are paying for our work and time, not for Google. There is no ad spend in this service.
| Item | What it covers | Who you pay |
|---|---|---|
| Profile set-up and clean-up | One-time work: details, categories, services, duplicates | Dental Marketing Online |
| Ongoing optimisation | Monthly posts, review support, monitoring and reporting | Dental Marketing Online |
| Google Business Profile itself | No charge to be listed | Nobody |
Fees are quoted after we review your profile and are confirmed in writing before we start. GST applies where charged.
The price depends on the number of branches, the state of the existing listing (a duplicate or suspended profile takes more work), how often you want posts and reporting, and whether you also want review support for your front desk.
Want a cost estimate for your clinic?
Google shows the actions people take on your profile. We report them every month next to your enquiry data, so you can see more than views.
| Measure | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Calls from the profile | How many patients tapped to call from Maps or search |
| Direction requests | How many asked for directions to the clinic |
| Website clicks and bookings | How many went on to your website or appointment link |
| Reviews added and answered | New reviews, the rating trend and how quickly each is answered |
Profile numbers are an estimate by Google and can lag. We use them as direction, not as exact counts, and we match them with what your front desk records. See how we count enquiries on our how we measure results page.
Google Business Profile has content and review policies, and healthcare listings are checked closely. We follow them: we do not buy or write fake reviews, offer rewards for reviews, filter who is asked, or add keywords to your clinic name. We never publish patient names, photos or treatment details on the profile or in review replies.
Rules for how dentists in India can present their services also apply to your profile text. We keep descriptions factual and ask you to confirm your own position under Dental Council of India and ASCI guidance. Our guide on how to ask patients for Google reviews within the rules explains the review basics.
Send us your clinic name and city on WhatsApp, or call. We look at your profile as a patient sees it and reply with what is missing or wrong, and whether a short clean-up or an ongoing plan makes more sense.
Audit, manager access, and the corrections that matter most.
Categories, services, description and photos in place. Review request routine set up.
Regular posts, review replies and a check on any duplicate or flagged listings.
First full review of calls, directions and reviews, and a plan for the next quarter.
Profile changes can take days or weeks to show in Maps, and results vary with competition in your area, so we review progress over 90 days.
We advise against starting, or ask you to wait, in these situations:
Google lists businesses that serve customers at a real address. If your clinic has none, we will tell you what is and is not possible.
We will not buy reviews, add keywords to the clinic name or create extra listings for the same clinic.
If nobody can reply to reviews or ask patients, we set up a simple routine, but the clinic still has to run it.
We do not promise map position, a "3-pack" place or review counts.
We do not publish round numbers or unlabelled percentages. When we share a client result, it comes with the client's written consent, the period, the ad spend where relevant, what counted as a lead and where the data came from. Until a case study meets that standard, we do not publish it.
What you can expect to see from us:
We keep your profile in your name, follow Google's rules and report actions, not just views.

Yes. Google renamed Google My Business to Google Business Profile, and many clinic owners still call it GMB. It is the free listing that shows on Google Maps and in local search. We use both names so that you can find us.
Google does not charge for the profile itself. You pay us for the work: set-up and clean-up, and optional ongoing optimisation. We quote after reviewing your profile and confirm the fee in writing before starting.
No. Maps position depends on relevance, distance, prominence and competition, and Google does not allow anyone to buy a place. We improve what you control: accuracy, categories, services, photos, reviews and activity.
Corrections can show within days, but changes in calls and direction requests usually take weeks. We review progress over 90 days and report what changed.
No. Fake reviews, paid reviews and review gating break Google's rules and can get a profile suspended. We help you ask real patients for honest reviews in a policy-safe way and reply to every review professionally.
Yes. The profile stays in your name. We ask for manager access to work on it, which you can remove at any time.
We review why it happened, gather evidence and follow Google's reinstatement or removal process. We cannot promise an outcome, because the decision is Google's, but we will tell you what is realistic.
Yes. Each branch needs its own accurate listing and reporting. We set them up consistently and report by branch.
